PORTFOLIO
Exhibiting the photographic highlights is hardly an easy task for any photographer.
I guess my heart will guide me.
I have travelled since I, as a restless teenager, hitchhiked through Europe from Denmark to Morocco.
It was my first real journey abroad and on too many levels it was a ludicrous endeavour.
However that specific journey triggered my curiosity, and it was the beginning of my life in photography.
Returning home from North Africa, I went through my pictures from the epic voyage with great expectations, and I must confess, I was truly diassapointed.
My analogue films were full of blurry, weirdly exposed pictures of those great moments in my life that would never reappear.
Realizing all my photographic efforts had been in vain, I felt an immense frustration of not being able to handle my camera well enough to capture the details of life that my eye caught.
I knew I had to learn if I wanted to be the photographer I knew I was.
Since then, my cameras have followed me everywhere, and I must have worn out several, photographing what my eye discovered and what I believed to be one of those split seconds in time worth remembering.
Now, for several decades, I've had the pleasure of working with travel magazines and various organizations, and a part of that work is exhibited here in my portfolio, along with various images from my life in photography.
